The forces of the People's Militia of the Lugansk People's Republic, together with Russian troops, reached the administrative border of the LPR, completely taking control of the city of Popasnaya, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“Units of the People's Militia of the Lugansk People's Republic, with the support of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, having completed the cleansing from the nationalists of the village of Popasnaya, broke through the enemy's defense in depth and reached the administrative border of the Lugansk People's Republic,” & mdash; Igor Konashenkov, representative of the department, said.
