Since the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine on February 24, 4481 civilians have been killed, 5565 injured, reported the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. This is the updated data as of June 16th. Among the dead were 284 children.
2,611 civilians were killed in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, 3,103 were injured. According to the UN, 175 of them died in the regions controlled by the DPR and LPR, and 719 people were injured.
On the territory of the regions previously controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, 2,436 and 2,384 people were killed and injured, respectively.
In other regions of Ukraine, 1,870 civilians were killed and 2,462 were injured.
