Senator Klishas believes that every resident of Lithuania should feel the answer
Every resident of Lithuania should feel the response from Russia due to the restriction of the transit of goods to the Kaliningrad region. This point of view was expressed by Andrey Klishas, head of the Federation Council Committee on constitutional legislation and state building.

« ;Every citizen of Lithuania should feel Russia's retaliatory measures for violating transit obligations. The time for some diplomatic demarches is over. Western sanctions are directed directly against our citizens — the response should be directed against citizens of the European Union and Lithuania, including», — the senator wrote in his Telegram channel.
Earlier, the Lithuanian authorities notified that , that since June 18, the republic has been restricting the transit of goods transported to the Kaliningrad region by rail.
Later, Vilnius announced that similar restrictions were being introduced for goods transported by road.
< p>Lithuania insists that these restrictions are not a unilateral decision of Vilnius, but only the implementation of the sanctions that were imposed by the European Union against the Russian Federation.
The authorities of the Kaliningrad region believe that the restrictions affected a significant part of the goods, which are imported into the region — from 20 to 50 percent of the entire range. Building materials and metals were banned, in particular.
Moscow, in turn, promised at various levels that retaliatory measures would be taken against Lithuania.
