The National University Ranking for 2022 was published by Interfax.
Lomonosov Moscow State University topped the list of the best universities in Russia. On the second line is the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. On the third – National Research University Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT). The fourth place was taken by St. Petersburg State University, the fifth – by the National Research Technological University “MISiS”.
The TOP-10 also includes Novosibirsk National Research State University, NRU “Higher School of Economics”, Tomsk National Research State University, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia and Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.
In total this year, within the framework of the project, which "Interfax" has been implementing since 2010, experts evaluated 358 universities in the country. Six parameters were taken into account: educational and research activities; social environment; cooperation; brand; innovation and technological entrepreneurship.
Earlier it was reported that this year the number of state-funded places in Russian universities increased to 588 thousand.
