Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko arrived at the Konstantinovsky Palace in St. Petersburg. This was announced by the Telegram channel Pool of the First, close to the press service of Lukashenka.
The palace will host talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Earlier, Lukashenka visited the site for the construction of the Belarusian port in the St. Petersburg marine complex Bronka. The project was supported by Putin in February of this year.
The day before, the Belarusian president met with the governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, follows from a publication on his website. He said that he would hold talks with Putin on “serious issues.”
On June 25, on the day of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Belarus, the presidents of the countries exchanged congratulations.
Lukashenko noted that the strengthening of interaction between Minsk and Moscow makes it possible to successfully overcome global challenges and threats. He wished Putin health and good luck, and the Russians— peaceful skies, prosperity and confidence in the future.
Putin pointed out that the strengthening of relations meets the requirements of security and stability in the Eurasian space. He wished Lukashenka health and success, and the Belarusian people— happiness and well-being.
